The Auditorium Palau de Congresos de Girona has hosted this Monday evening the Gala of the Tenth Edition of the Digital Awards E-TECH, which recognize the companies, institutions, entities and people of the regions of Girona that with their works, activities , Projects and initiatives are contributing to the diffusion and development of ICTs.
Ten prizes have been awarded in total. One of them, had already been announced a few days ago. This is the “Referente Digital”, which has fallen to the filmmaker and audiovisual producer Gerard Edmon Roch, who in recent years has been responsible for animation film projects such as Tadeo Jones or Catch the Flag, which have gained international recognition.
The presentation of the award to Edmon Roch, which has included a video about his career, has been one of the most emotional moments of the night. He also highlighted at the end of the event a “digital toast” to celebrate the tenth anniversary of these awards, which consisted of a Twitter tweet of attendees to the act using this social network.
The rest of the winners were: MJN Neuroserveis, Audience Award for the Best Project, Gerund Digital Product or Service; Vilablareix Television, Best Initiative Award in Local Administration; El Nus de Pedra, Award for the Best Digital Marketing Initiative in Girona; Montse Capel Rodríguez, Audience Award for Best Action Gironina on the Net; La Selva – Energy Tools, Award for the Application of ICT in the company; Insylo-Ubikwa, Award for Research and Innovation in ICT; Montepio Girona-DSET, Award for Best Management in Language and Communication in ICT; Didactic Labs, Award to the Emerging ICT Company-SWHosting: Award for the Trajectory of the ICT Company.
