Costa Food Group

The history of Costa Food Group is linked to the birth of Piensos Costa in Fraga (Huesca) in 1966. The company  began  its  activity with the purchase and sale of  cereals  and,  since then, has  applied  models  of  integration,  expansion  and  growth  that  have allowed it to  consolidate itself as a  benchmark in the national and  European agri-food  sector. .

Today, the Costa Business Group, on which the meat holding Costa Food Group depends, is present in 107 countries and invoices 1.1 billion euros per year …

Costa Food Group bets on natural products from the origin, obtained through the group’s vertical integration process (controlled circular process), which begins with the control of pig feeding, the care of livestock and the guarantee of safety in all states: birth and aging (Piensos Costa), cutting (Costa Food Meat) and transformation and elaboration of delicatessen (Casademont and Villar). Control of the entire process provides full traceability throughout the value chain and makes it transparent.
