INNOVACC is participating in the European project EmerGo project, an initiative working to address the presence of persistent and emerging pollutants (PEPs) in wastewater generated during cleaning processes in the food industry.
The project features three industrial pilots in the meat, fruit juice, and confectionery sectors, combining smart sensors, artificial intelligence, and water treatment and reuse technologies.
In the case of the meat sector, Casademont It participates as an industrial pilot, contributing the industry's perspective and real-world needs.

The project is coordinated by Eurecat – Centre Tecnològic and comprises 18 partners from 10 countries, with the support of Horizon Europe.
