CHIP360: RFID for control of dryers and undoing room

Go back

15/12/2023

Project approved online for AEI 2023 aid.

The CHIP360 project is focused on the implementation of technologies that allow effective control of the stocks available in each hair dryer and undoing room, in order not only to know the retail stocks, but also to make curing output forecasts. and with this know, not only the quantity of product in stock, but also the quantity of product available on a given date.

The main objective of the project is to change the way of collecting data related to the movements of poles and their content (item, batch and quantity), automating the identification process of these poles, avoiding human intervention and ensuring that the input data and exit of each person in each warehouse and dryer area is carried out automatically. This will allow you to know precisely what is in each dryer and when the entry and exit movements were made.

It should be noted that it is an intercluster project, where INNOVACC (coordinator) and the Foodservice Cluster Association of Catalonia (FOODSERVICE) will work to disseminate the project among their associates in order to provide tools to improve the competitiveness of the sector.
